While many people think that Arizona is immune to mold issues due to our dry environment, it is a myth that mold doesn’t grow in Arizona. Mold thrives in warm, damp conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, water damaged buildings, bathroom ceilings, and materials like wood and carpet.  In Arizona, mold has been found in commercial buildings, apartments, residential homes, dorm rooms and even vehicles. 

When you sell your home, you must disclose mold problems and water damage. For this reason, getting a mold inspection before a real estate transaction can benefit both the seller and the buyer.
