About the Instructor:
David Gilpatrick
David Gilpatrick has owned and operated companies specializing in the
real estate market for 17 years. His unique understanding of
residential and commercial real estate and construction dates back
twenty years to his days as a design and development expert for several
architectural firms and builders in the Valley. He continues forward to
the present day where he provides in-depth training and consulting to
real estate agents throughout Arizona, Colorado and California.
David currently teaches real estate agents continuing education
courses in the subjects of Disclosure, Risk Management, General Home and
Environmental Inspections and most recently the unique Disclosure and
Liability issues of Foreclosed Properties. He is also a GRI instructor
for the Environmental Ethics module 311.
He has also been very involved in educating home inspectors on
Advanced Water Incursion Inspection Techniques, Risk Management and
Liability Reduction. And he provides litigation support as an expert
witness in the defense of home inspectors and real estate professionals
entangled in law suites.
As a Certified Environmental Consultant, General Contractor and with
a degree in Architecture, David brings a wealth of experience to each of
the businesses he has owned or operated. David is the Founder and
President of Residential Environmental Services of America Inc (RESA),
in Arizona and Director of Field Operations and Vice President of RESA
in Colorado. RESA was founded in 2001 and works almost exclusively with
real estate agents to deliver a non-threatening, non alarmist and cost
affective way to investigate water damage and provide environmental
sampling including mold analysis for residential and commercial
properties.
